Society’s values and attitudes have been a global issue since we became a global community, with sustainability, and all the factors that influence it, as the most compelling concern.
It appears that the ongoing pandemic has become a wake-up call to humanity to re-evaluate our values and attitudes, and to reconsider what it is that makes us human and how that translates into the survival of the planet.
This has thrown connection and interdependence into stark relief on the human landscape of awareness.
Heartrending tragedies within everybody’s personal orbits are making us deeply aware of our need for each other.
Global calamities are shaking us into re-thinking the value of our planet and how our survival is wholly integral to its well-being.
Central to this state of the planet is the inability of education to address the most important elements of what we know and what we don’t know, and central to what we don’t know is the inability of education to pose the right questions to learners – questions that will stimulate free, considered thought processes in search of clues to observable answers.

Our ability to create an effective education philosophy and methodology for the planet has been thwarted by the exclusion of millions of learners through cultural disconnection and attitude.
